PAOLA PICARDÓ
TEACHER
Psychologist specialized in mental health by UAB (Autonomous University of Barcelona) and accredited psychotherapist by ACPP (Catalan Association of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy). She is also a member of the Academy of Medical Sciences and Health of Catalonia and the Balearic Islands, and the Catalan Society of Sexology. She is part of the Governing Council of the ACPP.
Her educational background is focused on the psychodynamic theoretical framework, with a Master’s in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from UdG (University of Girona) and an Advanced Master’s in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from ACPP. She has also completed Masters in Early Care and Clinical Neuropsychology at EDECA (Center for Studies in Psychology and Education). She has received training in Mentalization-Based Treatment (MBT) for Families at the Anna Freud Center and is clinically certified for the administration of the ADOS-2 test (Autism Diagnostic Observational Schedule).
She works as a psychotherapist in both public and private settings, addressing various age groups (children, adolescents, and adults). Additionally, she is part of the teaching staff for the Master’s in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy at UdG, the Advanced Master’s in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy at ACPP, and the Postgraduate Program in Art Therapy and Community Art at Metàfora.
