MARÍA SANJINÉS

Visual artist graduated from the University of the Andes, Master in Art Therapy from Metàfora. Colombian artist based in Catalonia. Her works address issues of identity, ordinary phenomena, domestic scenes, political opinions, maternal dilemmas, and other universal and particular themes. The character of her work reflects a genre, a generation, a continent, and a digestive process of reality. Collaborations with institutions, festivals, and prominent exhibitions include: Teatre LLiure (Barcelona), Museu Comarcal De La Garrotxa (Olot), L’appartement 22 (Fez), FIRA TARREGA (Tárrega), Sismògraf (Olot), Salmon (Barcelona), Fundación Telefónica – ARCO (Madrid), ARTLIMA (Lima), ARTBO – Articularte Director (Bogotá), Can Felipa (Barcelona), Mapping Festival (Geneva), Sonic Circuits – National Museum of Women in the Arts (Washington DC).
